So I'm shopping for new shoes . . .

Hello-

I've been running on Brooks Adrenaline for the last year and they've been fine. However, I tried on Brooks Ghost and just fell in love with the toe action! That wonderful little push at the front was great! I liked it so much that all subsequent shoes I've tried on have paled in comparison. The problem is that the Ghost has a more pronounced arch than I'm used to. I'm almost willing to get used to it if I get the toe action, though. I also liked that the Ghost was more narrow than the Adrenaline. I have wide feet and like the more snug feeling of the Ghost.

My question is, is it unwise to switch if the arch is much more than I'm used to? Would it be too much at once - the narrowness, the toe, the arch?

Any thoughts would be welcome!

Thanks-
Cristina

Have you tried switching insoles? Maybe try putting in the insoles from the old ones or go out and buy a new pair of insoles. A different insole can sometimes change the feel of shoes (getting the arch to feel right in a pair of shoes is something I too have issues with).
